What do we do in the club?
At our branch, we explore everything from novels and short stories to inspiring poetry collections. Although reading is done independently, the core of our community is our literary discussions. During these gatherings, we discuss our readings and apply techniques to enhance our reading comprehension and speed.
We complement this experience with an active cultural agenda that includes meetups with local authors. We also support the literary circuit by attending book fairs and various book presentations.

Children's Program (Ages 6 to 14)
Children's sessions focus on reading comprehension and artistic expression.
We propose group reading of a short children's story, preferably bilingual: Spanish-English.
Once reading is complete, children are encouraged to express their ideas and creative interpretations of the story.
Children illustrate their interpretations, designing original front covers, back covers, and interior pages using recycled cardboard, paper, paints, and crayons. By the end of the sessions, each child creates their own handmade book!
