The Latino Festival is a grand community celebration featuring live music, dance performances, cultural workshops for children and adults, traditional Latin American gastronomy, and booths from social and cultural organizations.
Produced by CAPA (Columbus Association for the Performing Arts), an internationally award-winning non-profit organization managing the most iconic historic theaters in downtown Columbus.
From our official literary tent, visitors connected with local authors, discovered new works in Spanish, participated in reading activities, and enjoyed family-friendly artistic presentations.
The Latin Festival is an event that offers lively music, street dances, cultural and artistic workshops for children and adults, Latin American cuisine, and community information booths.
It is produced by CAPA, the owner/operator of the magnificent historic theaters in downtown Columbus (Ohio, Palace and Southern Theatres), and manager of the Riffe Center Theatres Complex, Lincoln Theatre, and the Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts in New Albany.
CAPA also operates the Shubert Theatre (New Haven, CT). CAPA is a nonprofit organization, renowned presenter of national and international performing artists.
From our author’s booth, we will be informing about the latest AEO activities, we will have fun activities for visiting families, as well as the sale of Spanish books from our writers.
