Aprender español este verano será su mejor aventura

Este verano, la Asociación de Escritores de Ohio (AEO) se complace en anunciar la realización de un campamento infantil enfocado en la enseñanza y práctica del idioma español, dirigido a niños y niñas de entre 6 y 12 años.

Este encuentro tendrá lugar del 07 al 17 de julio de 2025 en Columbus, Ohio, y está diseñado para ofrecer una experiencia educativa, cultural y recreativa con énfasis en la lengua española.

Over two weeks, participants will explore the language through recreational, artistic and literary activities.

The main objective of this camp is to reinforce the learning of Spanish as a mother tongue or second language, in an environment that stimulates creativity, oral expression and the love of reading from an early age.

Activities will include storytelling, group dynamics, interactive games, creative writing workshops, reading aloud and crafts, all in Spanish.

The program’s approach is comprehensive and seeks to develop both linguistic and social skills. Through literature, games and imagination, the aim is for children not only to acquire vocabulary and understanding, but also to develop an emotional bond with the language.

The camp will be led by a team with experience in children’s pedagogy and Spanish teaching, in a safe, warm and conducive environment for learning.

At the AEO we reaffirm our vocation for the promotion of language and literature in Spanish, sowing appreciation for written and spoken culture from childhood.

This camp is part of our initiatives to strengthen bilingualism, cultural identity and creativity of new generations in the Latino community of Columbus.
