Silvia Rodríguez

Silvia C. Rodríguez is originally from Chihuahua, Mexico. He studied at the Autonomous University of Chihuahua and obtained the title of public accountant. Later, to support her husband, Gustavo Rodríguez, she emigrated to the United States. At the beginning Silvia dedicated herself to studying English and later worked in various fields: veterinary, auditing and accounting. Today it is established in German Village, a historic neighborhood in Columbus, Ohio. It is there where, inspired by the beauty of the place, she decided to venture into the field of writing as part of a personal goal without imagining that her books would touch the classrooms of various primary and secondary schools. Silvia is the author of the novel Un Cuban Más, Just Another Cuban (Translated into English) and the bilingual children's books: Taco - the African Gray Parakeet, Football Beyond the Sky, Sandy & Manchas I, Sandy & Manchas 2 and participated as co-author of the book Resonancias y fantasias as a member of the Columbus Ohio Writers Society. The comic book Adventures in the She-Ratón Hotel is her most recent work where she collaborated as a scriptwriter, editor and creative artist alongside several artists from different countries.
